Columbia Basin Culture Tour 2010
Submitted by Fernie Forge on Tue, March 16, 2010
Fernie Forge is participating in the Columbia Basin Culture Tour for the second year.

Fernie Forge is not normally open to visitors (except by appointment), but for two days
Saturday and Sunday, August 14th and 15th, 2010 from 10:00am – 5:00pm
Blacksmiths Sandra and David Barrett invite you to visit their Forge
at 2087 Highway #3 in historic Hosmer, a 10 minute drive East of Fernie
as part of this free, self-guided cultural event.
Look for a barn with a blue roof before Hosmer Bridge, on the left of the Highway. Directional signs will guide you to the driveway which has a pair of carved wooden hands holding torches at the entrance.
Fernie Forge makes all manner of things from forged and fabricated metal; especially artwork using steel, bronze and copper.
